TEST PATTERN IS AS FOLLOWS
1.APTITUDE AND REASONING:
FOR APTITUDE :Go for RS Agarwal exercises like Average,Age,Clocks,Time and distance,etc.
FOR REASONING:Same RS Agarwal most of them will be on Blood relations and Seating arrangement..
2.GROUP DISCUSSION:
This shows ur talent over there, how nice u start with ur views and represent ur self among others, be cool and confident.
3.INTERVIEW +HR:
This depends on ur academics, and mainly ur talent, be perfect in C and DataStructures,if u know DBMS its better.

The recruitment process (four round) is quite a long. It goes as follows:--

IV. Technical.
But there ware 3 set of Apti papers. I got the Set-I. The paper was not so hard. There was no section cut off.
Written Test consist of Three Section:
1) Verbal 10 Questions
2) Logical Reasoning 10 Questions
3) Analytical 10 Questions
VERBAL SECTION
There were 2 paragraphs. All the questions were from those paragraph.
1) Some questions “the passage intends to:”,” this sentence intends to:” like this.
2) 2-3 question from synonyms(from the passage)
Analytical Part
2. The avg. age ofa group of 12 students is 20yers.If 4 more students join the group,the avg age increases by 1 year.The avg age of the new student is?
3. If the value of ApbLtd company stock drops from 45$ per share to 38$ per share, what is the percent of decrease?
4. Avg cost of 5 pens and 4 pencils isRs. 36.The avg cost of 5 pens and 9 pencils is Rs.56.Find the total cost of 25 pens and 25 pencils?
5. If 3/p=8 & 3/q=18 then p-q=?
6. (1/5)^3+(3/5)^3+3(1/5)(3/5)(1/5+3/5)=?
7. Three math classes:A,B,C Taken a test.
The avg score of A is=83.
The avg score of B is=76.
The avg score of C is=75.
The avg score of all students in classes A & B together is 67
The avg score of all students in classes B & C together is 81.

Mainly the pattern of the reasoning Ques. were from R.S.AGGARWAL .Mainly chapter 5,6.

Most of the topic was Current Affirs.Like” womens world.”,” IT is enabler (BOON) or not ?”
There are approx. of 10-12 members in each group & particularly they check you Communication skills, Leadership Qualities etc.Basic funda is to say as much as you know about the topic.

4)Are you rady to go any where in
5)Your hobbies.

5) Write down a program calculate factorial of 7 using recurssion.
6) Write the func. of Bubble short.After that give an exampale and find the 2nd largest element.I took a simple exampale and explain the logic.
7) What is DBMS?
8) What is View?Write the syntax of view.
9) Why we do normalization ?Defination of 1NF,2NF,3NF,BCNF.
10) Some questions on my hobbies.I wrote playing cricket is one of my hobby.He asked me Your Boss give u a work and a very interesting game is going on in TV.Then what u will do

GENPACT PAPER ON 19th FEBRUARY AT KERALA
The test started at 1.00 after a long wait from 9am..The paper consisted of
1)Logical reasoning
2)Simple aptitude
3)Reading comprehension
All of these r not in diff headings okie....
simple aptitude like :
1)a tank is filled in 5hrs and anothers pipe drains the tank in 6hrs...in wat time is the pipe filled.
2)some equation n to find x
3)a simple train n distance ques.
4)simplification
Logical reasoning
1)a family tree
2)a simple ques with some conditions I tried out summers n all..but the ques were really simply there was not need of all tat
The englich passages were tough with the ques like...wats the conclusion n stuffs We had two sets of papers....the other set consisted of avg,s questions
then i cleared it n then came the GD the topics were like
1)capital punishment
2)cricket( something related to tat)
3)abortion
then the HR:
1)i was asked abt my marks,the fluctuations
2)strength ,weakness
3)was given two aptitude problems to solve
4)abt the company
5)if there was only 2 days left to die,wat would i do
6)if they gave me 1000 bucks wat wud i do with it.
7)abt the bond,abt the relocation to hyd or kolkata...

They called me to come to their main office the interview was scheduled at 11 but my turn came at
The interviewer(I) was very cool,he took me(M) inside his cabin,it was in this way:
I: How r u feeling Mr.Amarender.
M: fine sir.
I: take
M: than q sir.
I: say something abt
M: explained abt my educational background,my family back ground.
I: so u r from cse n u know all these languages.
M: s sir.
Asked q,s from C lang basic q,s covered all most all pointers,linked lists..
I:write a prgrm to find factorial of a number
M: done
I: write using recursion
M: tried,almost correct ,he helped me.
I:xplain me how it will be executed .
M: xplained step wise.
I: asked to write algorithm of Quick sort and xplain abt bubble sort.
M: xplained, was confused a little bit, he helped me.
Then he asked few q,s from c++,java, OS,RDBMS.
Asked to write few queries which were a bit typical but done successfully.
The interview was all around 45 mins.
At last gave me shake hand, I just went outside and again returned back and asked him "Sir! Shall I leave!".
He said,give me 10 mins.
I waited for half an hr.
Later a lady called me and took for a HR ROUND.
She took me into her cabin and left said that she will b back in few mins,came after few mins.
HR:Introduced herself and askedme to xplain bat myself in detail.
Me: xplained.
HR: what were u doing from this one year.
Me:said that doing some course and trying parallelly.
HR:
Me:xplained.
HR: 2 major achievements in
Me:took some time, n managed to say only one.
HR : she was not convinced.
Me: I was a bit tensed.
HR: what do u know about GENPACT.
Me: xplained.
HR: that,s it amar,any q,s from
Me: I asked few q,s like job desc etc.
HR: she xplained everything.
Finally she gave a firm shake hand and said thankyou, me also done the same thing.
Went outside again knocked the door and asked mam whn can I expect the feed back.
She said ,"give us 2 days".
I left, and one fine afternoon I received mail from them offering for a position in their organization.
I was really thrilled,not getting words to describe the moment.
At last I made it!
