Hi friends this is Manoj Kumar Kola, I attended Mphasis in BITS, Warangal on 27th October 2007. It consists of 4 rounds n they are
1) Written
2) GD
3) Technical
4) HR
The written was really very easy it consists of 10 comprehension passage 20 aptitude 15 reasoning n 15 technical u have to be carefull about technical there is sectional cutoff . we attended nearly 800 for written out of 800 only 56 through the written, one has to remember each n every round is elemination round
after written GD in Gd 10 per batch in GD they will give each one seperate topic n gave 2 mins in that 2 mins 1 min to think about n remaining time to speak about it i got the topic "Should smoking be banned?" in this round only 20 out of 56 were sent to
the next round i.e., Technical in this technical round each one has interviewed for nearly half an hour to one hour i belongs to electrical branch my technical experience is as follows

Hi! Friends I am P.V.Kishan Kumar from Chaitanya Engineering College.I got placed in Mphasis an Eds Company which conducted a pool campus drive at GIET Rajhamundry.
First of all I want to thank my parents n god for this success. So friends be bold n brave don’t get upset in life bcoz life is a journey of ups n downs.I m telling u this bcoz it is my 13th intw. I was knocked out in first rounds of wipro ,infosys, syntel, sify, assurgent, sapient, accenture, accord.I cleared d first rounds of Satyam and Infotech Enterprises but lost in Tech. so friends don’t be get disappointed try untill u get success bcoz its very joyful n sweet in any ones life.
Ok friends so coming to the selection procedure there are four rounds

2.Group Discussion
3.Technical Interview
4.HR Interview
1.Written Test
A total of 23 Engg. Colleges attended the drive all over the state at GIET Rajhamundry in which 950 students attempted the written test conducted by Meritrac out of which 168 cleared the written test.The paper consists of four sections
1.Comprehension reading(2 passages,10 qns-10M)
2.Logical reasoning(15Q-15M)
3.Numerical Ability(15Q-15M)
4.Tecnical qns frm C&Ds,C++,Java,OS,DBMS(20Q-20M).
The paper was a bit easy,but u need a lot of practice bcoz u will have a less time for doing tat my dear friends.so start doing lot of problems from R.S.Aggarwal n other books which will help u a lot n tech. qns contain simple basics.There is no negative marking so try to attempt all qns my dear friends.So I was one of the 168 ppl.
The results were announced at around 12.30pm afterwards the ppl were attending GD
2.Group Discussion:
As far as Gd is concerned with Mphasis they will conduct a jam session in which a group of 10 ppl are divided n each one would be given a topic n they shud talk on it for 2 min friends.So plz try to be pprd 4 tat bcoz they simply concentrate on your communication skills.try to speak for maximum n don’t get stammered.try to speak anything wid out stopping.In my group my topic was on politics n I did exceptionally well.n I got selected.
In my group out of 10, 3 were selected for the tech round n I m one of them.So friends be well pprd for this round bcoz they mostly eliminate ppl frm this round.out of 168 they shortlisted 58 ppl for the tech round.this round was completed at around 6:30pm my dear friends.
After GD jam session they gave their corporate ppt for d selected students.It was pretty good n watch it carefully bcoz there will be askin qns on it in HR intw.
3.Technical round:
After GD around 58 ppl attended the technical round.It was pretty easy 4 cse students n a bit tough 4 other branches.the priority will be given to cse students n other branches try to be in touch with languages like c,java,c++.they will be askin simple basics.so be cool.
4 me they asked to write a simple program in java n asked some simple qns frm it.He also asked sm qns frm java n I ansd it pretty easily bcoz I m good in java.so I was selected fr the HR round.around 25 ppl cleared the technical frm 58 students n I m 1 of them.
4.HR round:
So friends once u entered the HR panel u are almost 99% selected.they ask abt urself n ur likes n dislikes,will u able to relocate or not n other kinda stuff like tat,they will be askin company’s profile also,so be pprd 4 tat.its was a pretty cool intw which u will njoy it.after HR round I was given an offer letter frm which I was one of the family of Mphasis an Eds company.
Once a moment I was in my atmost happiness in my life bcoz it’s a very nice company which is 3rd best in d world.the pay will be around 2.5lacs per annum plus 50000 allowances.

Hello friends….I am Shishir Saxena doing my e.c. from A.B.E.S. Engg. College Ghaziabad. I got selected in pool campus to MphasiS an EDS (Electronic Data Segments) company. It was basically a one day process of the entire program.
Before discussing about my selection experience at MphasiS. I would like to thank to GOD, MY PARENTS, MY FRIENDS, MY COLLEGE, for there valuable support.
Now about my experience ….
The entire process was smooth and consisted of 3 rounds :-
Written test
Technical interview
HR interview
WRITTEN TEST : It was conducted at different time slots for a large no. of college students appearing for the test at R.K.G.I.T. college Ghaziabad. The written test consisted of four (4) sections:
Section A: English comprehension test.
Section B: Reasoning test.
Section C: Aptitude test.
Section D: Technical test.
There was no negative marking at the written paper so do try to attempt all the questions for a better chance of selection. Here by I provide the certain details of the written test as being remembered by me are provided below:
Section A: English comprehension test.
There were two unseen passage related to them each had 5 questions to be answered. These were not so easy have to be sorted very carefully.
Section B: Reasoning test.
It contained two questions on venn diagram could not remember them but like
Q: P,Q,R & S . where p wears big goggles& shoes other were something else like this.
5 questions on data sufficiency. One of them was as follows:
Q: What will pinky buy
If she buy pink dress, she also buys pink shoe.
If she do not buy pink dress, she will not buy pink shoe.
Two problem on ages:
Q: Pointing to a person, lady said,"He is the son of my father’s only daughter" how will the lady be related to the person.
Ans: Mother.
4. Two direction problems:
Q: A boy starts journey towards north 20m, then he turned left and walk 10m, again he turned left and moved
25m, and finally he turned left and move 10m, how far is he from starting point.
Ans: 5m.
Section C: Aptitude test.
5 problem of profit and loss
Q: A person sell an item at 100 Rs. with 15% profit find C.P.
Q: Average of batsman is 34.If in next innings he scored 119 runs and his average is 37. Find the no. of innings played.
Certain other problems like on population, etc.
Q: A train leaves a station at 9.00 p.m. Another train leaves same station at 10.00 p.m. first train runs at 35 kmph and Second train crosses the first train in 4 hours. Find the speed of the second train.
Q: A two digit no. is 20 greater than no. form on reversing the two digits no. Find the two digit no.
Q: Today is 14th April and day after tomorrow is Wednesday. What will the last day of the month?
Ans: Wednesday.
Q: A do a work in x days and B in y days. Starting from A, they worked for alternate days. In how many days the work will be completed.
Section D: Technical test.
Questions from C, C++ few of them are:
a. If in a circular queue, front and rear are at adjacent location then this is the condition for (overflow).
b. If address location is not allotted, malloc function returns (null pointer).
c. Notation for calloc is (p=(ptr *)calloc(10,6)).
d. Which of them returns a null pointer (malloc)?
e. Stack work on the basis of (LIFO).
f. An array is a (Collection of similar elements stored at adjacent memory location).
g. First element of a tree is (Root).
h. Main()

When the result was declared at around 3.30 p.m. I with my three other group friends was being short listed in the written test. Then we were being sent through the PPT. After the PPT the next level of the interview started.
TECH:
Tech and HR interviews were being taken one after the other.
At the tech. as I entered the room was asked
How am I feeling today?
What did I have in my LUNCH?
Any tech. language of my interest?
Then questions from c like who created c language and others?
Then he switched over to microprocessor and asked questions like what is microprocessor?
What is 8085,8086?
Difference between 8085,8086?
What is segmentation of memory and others questions?
Then was asked where will I find my self in the next five years?
Then he asked me whether I have to ask any question to him?
I said definitely and asked if recruited what sort of projects would be that I would have to look after?
Was answered and was sent to the HR room for HR interview.
HR Interview:
Firstly asked how am I feeling today?
What do you know about MphasiS?
Why MphasiS?
Tell me about yourself?
When I was introducing myself from the past 8-9 min. was being interrupted in between and was asked the other questions
Do you have any problem in signing bond?
Do you have any problem in relocation?
Do you have any problem in working in shifts?
And was asked to go to the seminar hall.
Then finally at around 7.30 p.m. result was announced and my name was in the list of the selected students and I there by became a member of the enormous group that is MphasiS an EDS company.

Version 4 (no questions r repeated).different questions…
1.English: consists of relations like

Its preferable to refer rs agg verbal book…………
Sorry cant remember the rest… 10q (be careful all options r very tricky).
2.quantitaive:is tough in version 3… version 4 moderate
people who have mastered rs agg quantitative apt for them its just a cake walk…

3. logical is bit easy its mathematics….calculations…. its easy refer r.s agg its enough…
