RSsoftware Placement Paper : RSsoftware Placement Paper 31 December 2011

Well i will give u a brief idea about m,y experience in RS SOFTWARE campus drive in TIG group. It started wid a PPT where they said about their company. They wont tell u the salary for its confidential but being posted in Kolkata they will give you exactly what any other company is gonna gve you during your training.

It started with the APTI..there were two sections quants and english..Give tym to the quants first. It will be abit tricky but not difficult...quants lyk sqrt of 12345654321....and there were others lyk that to...then english had antonym synonym and error detection...

Remember there is negative marking of 50% but my experience says try to attempt everythng on which ur around 80% confident. My own experience says you never know what the cutoff is gonna be and take a bit of risk for that had helped me ...(THERE WERE OTHER CAMPUS DRIVES WHERE I DIDNOT TAKE RISK AND ENDED UP WITH NOTHING.)

There was a short listing here after which we were called for TECHNICAL ROUND.....here remember one thing..No company is gonna ask u hdlc or dns configuration nor will ask u to code for a swing.....Jus remember the basics ...there r small things we tend to forget..Remember that...And even if you r answering wrong be sure its logical and say that with confidence and make sure ur concept is clear....Remember concept is all that matters..

We went home and found a massive short listing in this segment...I realised that it was only my confidence that allowed me to get short listed nothng else...

Alwaz remember to maintain eye contact and keep yourself calm but also know one thing...You are selling yourself...So do your own marketing but dont exaggerate the activity...

Lastly we were called to the RS SOFTWARE OFFICE in SECTOR 5....I entered an IT company for the 1st time and trust me guys it was a hell of an experience...I was called for the final HR round.....Here is the trick ....they had called the 10 most eligible candidates first followed by 10 next...You will get a hint of sum sort if names are not called according to college or alphabetical order.....I knew i had already sold myself...So what i did was to hold my position...They are smart enuf to catch your lies...So just be calm and be logical and confident...That gave me my 1st job....
