We had quinnox off campus for navi mumbai colleges yesterday. Selection process is an aptitude test followed by an HR interview and the shortlisted students have to appear for another round of Technical + HR interviews at the company.

The aptitude test consisted of 62 questions which had various sub sections like Quant, Verbal, Logical and technical. Time limit is 1 hr. Questions are easy if you have prepared well. Quant had questions on trains, clocks, calendars, time and work, etc. Verbal had questions like which has closest meaning to following words... words like veracious and ambiguous were given. Then there were questions on rearranging sentence in a paragraph. Technical had questions like
what language is used for network development?
C, Java, ..... ?

Assembly lang, High level lang, Low level lang, none of these
One baud is equal to
byte/sec, gigabyte/sec, bits/sec,
Nand , Nor and Xor are examples of
primary gates, secondary gates, inverter gates, none of these

Router, Bridge, Gateway, none of these
There were sums of binary to decimal, Hex to base 8, decimal to base 7 conversion.

Basically the paper is lengthy and is difficult to complete in time. People who are fast enough can easily clear the aptitude, while there were others who cleared just by dividing the paper and solving half part and copying the other half from their partners..... this is how companies recruit people these days ! They want people quick enough to solve the paper or smart enough to copy !
