Role Outline/Job Summary


Account Investigator 3:

Performs Account Investigator 2 duties, plus deals with large business accounts

Utilizes computer system to investigate disputes and resolves complex issues

Responds to customers in writing or verbally

Acts as coach and trainer to new employees

Relied on for system testing projects because of technical proficiency

Works under limited supervision

May support an expansive array of products/services

Demonstrates technical/administrative expertise

Applies specialized functional skills and basic knowledge including underlying professional/technical principles or standards, which are well-defined

Understands how duties relation with others in the team/unit and how the unit integrates with others in accomplishing the work of the function


Business/ Department Objectives: Involved with handling all internal and external customer questions and queries

Core Responsibility: To research and accurately resolve investigation cases within designated timeframes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Ensure that clients are not negatively impacted by service delays

Financial/ Budgetary: Responsible for accurate and timely processing of any financial transactions applicable to the specific investigation case

Individual Contributor (IC)/Managerial: Individual Contributor

Key Deliverable:

Comprehensive reading ability

Strong problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and financial proofing

Education: Bachelor’s/MBA


Experience:


0-3 years experience in banking operation, operational process management prior work experience in a related job that would provide a good understanding of activities, policies, procedures and concepts of the work area

Should have good comprehension skills & be attentive to details

Excellent written and spoken English skills

Should be able to make sound decisions based on information on hand

Customer-focused

Demonstrated strengths across risk/controls and client excellence
