For Junior Orthopaedic Surgeon : A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned

For Professor : A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948) and Post-graduate qualification in Dentistry ie.

MDS from a recognised Institution or equivalent

Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 50 years for Professor & 45 years for all others posts as on 27.
