Advance Supplier Quality Engineer Job In Danfoss In Pune, India

Job DescriptionAs constantly growing company, Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for motivated employees who want to be part of global team We are seeking a Ferrous & Non- Ferrous Casting / Machining Experts to join our diverse team In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for supplier development & Quality working with suppliers, Procurement, Engineering & SCM globally In this role, you will be responsible to pro-actively ensure supplier and internal conformance at launch of New Product / Sourcing projects using advanced quality planning tools Provide front end support for business case preparation, responsibility for solid, fact-based feasibility study from suppliers.

Preparation of supplier for successful PPAP submission, approval, and product launching (series production) Job Responsibilities

• Assessment of supplier ability to produce components according to Danfoss requirements
• Evaluation of correctness/completeness of technical documentation and/or specifications
• Verification of corrective actions agreed with supplier required for project start
• Fact based feedback to Sourcing Project Manager - permission to start (or stop) project: (specifications clear, supplier ready, resources available, etc.

• Leading PMR (Pre-manufacturing review) meetings template distribution, pre-work data collection, PMR meeting facilitation, documenting identified actions and dates
• Verification of corrective actions agreed with supplier during PMR required for successful project implementation
• PPAP worksheet creation, being at the supplier for the on-site PPAP run off, follow up and correction of identified gaps
• Full responsibility for problem solving related to quality issues which occur in first 6 months from project implementation.
  
  
• Ensure supplier has the capability, capacity, understanding, and has closed all risk gaps to be fully ready for successful launch
• Ensure all aspects of the PPAP requirements from Danfoss are clearly defined, are understood by the supplier, the supplier completes all documents thoroughly, and the PPAP submission meets all Danfoss expectations
• Run at rate review and analysis of the supplier's process,
• Ensure suppliers are following the Danfoss APQP requirements

Background & Skills

• Engineering degree in Mechanical / Production,
• 10+ years' experience in parts development, quality assurance of mechanical products,
• Proven track record within product development, quality assurance, reliability engineering,
• Should possess strong communication skills,
• Solid experience in Problem Solving,
• Should be able to read and understand drawings and technical documentation
• ISO 9001/IATF 16949 Requirements
• Continuous Improvement Focus
• Foundry processes e.
