It all begins with outstanding talent It all begins with youMarket Job DescriptionAbout the RoleThis role will be responsible for partnering across the Controller teams to ensure data analytic and small automation needs are met and support the consultants on the team Responsibilities
Works with Controllers teams to apply business intelligence tools to business goals and analytical requirements, which may include: automating controls, reduction of end user computing tools, greater run-time efficiency, capacity planning, volume forecasting and unit costingServe as a valuable resource to the other members of the team while promoting knowledge sharing and team collaboration Supports the creation and delivery of data outputs and related reporting As needed, develops specific, customized reports, ad hoc analyses, and/or data visualizationsManages small projects requiring coordination, resource allocation, time management and consultation to other analysts on the team.
Adhere to Wells Fargo Controllers small automation standards as defined Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policiesDevelop and produce regular Tableau/SSRS based reporting used for executive and senior management, committees, issue owners and leadership teams within both front line and independent risk management Design and development of MS SQL Server infrastructure and backend processes including tables, views, stored procedures, SSIS packages, and misc ETLProduce routine and ad hoc reporting and analytics to support the needs of IM&R team issue monitoring and data quality activities Document procedures to ensure effective repeatable processesMaintain tactical analytical solutions that provide effective and actionable information in an efficient mannerEssential Qualifications9-12 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting 3+ years of Team management experience of a team of 5 to 7 teamVirtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment3+ years of experience developing in SAS and Tableau3+ years of experience in writing SQL3+ years of experience in an environment that utilizes large relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or TeradataExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyDesired QualificationsMust be a great team player with a high degree of flexibility, prepared to work in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environmentSQL Server development experienceSSRS experienceAbility to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendationsKnowledge and understanding of business requirement gathering and analysis Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques Leadership Expectations at Wells FargoAs a Team Member manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business.
