Analytics Development Lead Job In Honeywell In Bangalore

You will be responsible for working closely with data scientists to write the applications that integrate analytic modeling results into operational platforms, including Hadoop and NoSQL architectures You will also work with solution architects to design effective systems that seamlessly integrate models to production environments


You will be a member of a team that delivers contemporary analytics solutions for all Honeywell business groups and functions You will be expected to actively participate in defining and governing our analytics delivery strategy for Honeywell, as well as begin a strong leader in defining the architecture for analytics driven projects as we build out capabilities You will provide technical leadership and guidance to other developers to ensure successful analytics implementation.

You will be part of Honeywells Data Analytics Solution organization, and this position will be based in Bangalore

Specific Responsibilities
Implementing advanced analytics/modelling projects, including data ingestion, data management (scripts, modelling), data extraction, and execution of predictive models.

Work with and educate our data science and analytics teams to understand production implications of the solutions they are developing.
Perform lead developer functions on Big Data projects in cloud storage management activities, data ingestion, data management (scripts, modelling), data extraction and visualization and support for execution of predictive modelling activities.

Manage production analytic environments, and work with the IT organization to develop support and maintenance strategies for those environments.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related field
Analytics development experience: 5+ years
Hands-on experiences design and implement big-data-processing on Hadoop platform especially Serde (serialization/deserialization) plug-ins with HIVE (2 years)
Experience with versioning, change control, problem management (2 years)
Experience with all aspects of software engineering and the development lifecycle (2 year)
Expertise in UNIX architecture, systems administration and UNIX tools (2 years)
Experience developing with SQL and RDBMS(s): 2 years
Proven experience using open source and/or commercial solutions deliver standardized analytic applications, including development tools and automation/scripting
Curious, critical thinker that likes pushing boundaries
Preferred Qualifications

Results driven with a positive can do attitude
Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills
Highly team oriented
Ability to work collaboratively with analytic design staff through the design and build of new business processes and systems
In depth understanding of best-in-class analytics configuration and development processes
Proven experience ingesting, managing and visualizing high volume telemetry data, such as connected device data or manufacturing / shop floor data into a distributed computing platform
