JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Responsibilities:
- Responsible for GST refunds, GST Return, audits and appearing before the authorities
- Responsible for handling direct/indirect tax litigation which involves extensive interaction with consultants, drafting/reviewing submissions and appearing before the authorities
- Ensure appropriate transfer pricing compliances are in place and coordinate / support consultants on transfer pricing matters
- Calculate advance tax and review Withholding Taxes and tax collected at source, payments and returns
- Analyze the monthly P&L, advise corrections and rectification and analyze variances between forecasted and actual costs
- Responsible for accounting of tax entries in India and US (GAAP)
- Knowledge of PE and International Travel taxation of assignees
- Knowledge of preparing Budgets and POR
- Handling Fixed Asset Management
