1 Qualification: M.

Tech (Environment) from a Govt recognized University/Institute

2 Experience: Should have 3 years’ experience out of which at least 2 years in Environment department of Metro Rail/Govt Organization/PSUs Experience should be in different areas of environment impact assessment for infrastructure project especially in Transport Sector such as Railways/Highways/Airport/Metros.

Knowledge of National Environmental Laws & experience of drafting and implementing environmental specifications in construction contract is must Candidates with experience in environmental department of Metro will be preferred

3 Contract Period: 1 The tenure of contract appointment will be 3 years.

2 The contract of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving 3 months’ notice or by paying the contractual remuneration of three months in lieu of notice period, if the circumstances so warrant However, BMRCL reserves the right either to accept or reject the resignation depending on requirement of the project

Age: 35 years

Namma Metro, also known as Bengaluru Metro is a metro system serving the city of Bengaluru, India. It is currently the second longest operational metro network in India after the Delhi Metro. On the other hand, Namma Metro was ranked the 83rd largest metro system in terms of length and the 79th largest metro network in terms of number of operating stations in the world. It also contains the first underground metro line in South India. The metro network consists of two colour-coded lines, with a total length of 42.3 kilometres serving 41 stations. The system has a mix of underground, at-grade, and elevated stations using standard-gauge tracks. The metro has an average daily ridership of 315,000 passengers. By 2023, the system is expected to complete its phase 2 network and provide connectivity to the citys important tech hubs of Electronics City and White Field.
