Qualification :

1. a) Direct Recruitment:

A person who has been practicing for not less than three(3) years as an Advocate, as on the first day of the month in which notification/advertisement is published in news papers ie 01O6.

2019 shall be eligible to apply for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) under Direct Recruitment

1. b) Recruitment by Transfer:

A person applying under Recruitment by Transfer must possess a Degree in Law awarded by any University established by Law in India and must be a confirmed member or approved probationer in any one of the categories mentioned below No person is eligible for appointment under Recruitment by Transfer, who is facing disciplinary charges or has undergone any punishment or is in subsisting punishment for any irregularity in discharge of his/her duties

Age :35 years

Fee : The applicants who belong to OC/BC categories have to pay an amount of Rs800/- (Rupees eight hundred only) towards Online Application processing and

Examination fee, whereas the applicants belonging to SC/ST categories have to pay Rs400/- (Rupees four hundred only) towards Online Application processing

and Examination fee.

It was established in the year 1954, when the new state of Andhra formed from the earlier Madras Presidency. After the merger of the Hyderabad State with Andhra State to form the State of Andhra Pradesh, the Court initially met at the Guntur city till 1956. Thereafter, the High Court started functioning from the capital city of Hyderabad. However, post bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh into Telengana and Andhra Pradesh as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad was constituted as a common High Court, until the new High Court for the State of Andhra Pradesh is created. Later by a Presidential order, the High Court for the state of Andhra Pradesh was established on 1 January 2019 under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. The seat of the High Court is at Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh and the first justice city of India.
