Job Details
This position requires a good understanding of server administration across various platforms and intimate knowledge of key applications running on virtualized and non-virtualized platforms
Experience in implementing large-scale networks
Deep understanding of cloud technologies, such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Software-defined networks (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), OpenStack, and other emerging technologies
Experience in migrating and/or extending on-premises networks to the cloud
Experience in troubleshooting and solving networking issues
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers
Ability to travel onsite to customer locations as necessary
Experience with IP Networking - Routing, Switching, BGP, MPLS, OSPF etc, Cisco, Juniper, Brocade (CCIE preferred)
Experience with VMWare NSX design and implementation
Experience and good knowledge is required in
*Virtualization, SDN, NFV, OpenFlow, OpenStack Neutron
*Load Balancers f5, Citrix etc
*Public and hybrid cloud
*VPN, IPSec, SSL, GRE tunneling
*Perimeter firewalls, Web application firewalls – Vyatta, Fortigate
*Multi-site load balancing
*IPv6, BYoIP, Network Address Translation (NAT)
*Access Control Lists, Security groups
*Scripting

Responsibilities
The key responsibility is to leverage current software and open source solutions to automate as many tasks as possible required to enable and manage the company’s cloud solutions
The candidate selected for this position is responsible for making our cloud-based solutions as transparent as possible to our clients.
Cloud engineers are also responsible for creating and improving procedures and facilitating intra-company communication
One last duty that falls to the network engineer is researching and authoring the technical documentation that is essential to maintaining the system
