Selection Process :  Combined Geo-Scientist Examination will comprise Preliminary Examination, Main examination and Personality Test Preliminary/Stage-I Examination will consists of two Objective Type (multiple choices) questions papers for each stream of max 500 marks (Paper-I : 100 marks and Paper-II : 300 marks) Duration of examination will be 2 hours for each paper There will be Negative Marking for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers.

Only those candidates who will declare qualified in the Preliminary/Stage-I Examination, will be eligible for admission to the Main/Stage-II Examination Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination will consist of three conventional type papers for each stream of 200 marks each Examination duration will be 3 hours for each paper Conventional Type papers must be answered in English only On the basis of Preliminary and main exam marks, candidates will be shortlisted for interview of 200 marks.
