Deputy Director It Infrastructure Delivery Job In Pepsico In Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India

OverviewThis role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of infrastructure Services in support of PepsiCo's Corporate and Global Function divisions This includes managing successful outcomes of engagements for infrastructure services (Network, Compute, Workplace services) delivery with PepsiCo's strategic partners and suppliers, coordination and prioritization of demand with the business relationship managers and other stakeholders within the CIO teams with the goal of modernizing and refreshing PepsiCo's infrastructure assets globally in partnership with Architecture, Engineering, Security and Operations teams Responsibilities

• Accountable for end-to-end infrastructure project delivery across multiple strategic programs globally, as well as in support of Global Infrastructure Transformation programs
• Manage project communications, risks and issues proactively - accountability for managing and delivery IT infra projects and programs supporting Corporate Global functions and it customer base
• Design technical solutions based on engineering standards and customer requirements review and approve technical solutions proposed by suppliers accountability includes end-to end delivery of IT infrastructure projects including demand shaping, estimation, value realization tracking, setting up project's teams, project governance structure, technical design and delivery, reporting & metrics tracking
• Manage work-in-take for projects and business as usual demand.
  
  
• Track project KPIs and overall health of the projects, setup and delivery consistent project updates and status via regular project performance scorecards
• Assist Project teams with escalations to the 3rd party suppliers, and review 3rd party supplier's response levels to Service Requests and Change Requests
• Ensure that solutions deployed are consistent with IT Architecture and Engineering standards for network, compute, end user computing, cloud, and security
• Work as a liaison between architects/engineers and business relationship managers to articulate and translate business requirements and corresponding technology solutions and drive alignment across stakeholders
• Track project spend and provide inputs to the relevant project budget managers
• Implement standard and improved processes and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of Infrastructure delivery based on ITIL methodology Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Identify and drive service improvement plans
• Ensure handoff to IT Operations team for seamless transition from project completion to ongoing sustain

QualificationsMandatory Technical Skills

• Bachelor's Degree Required (computer science, computer engineering, or information systems)
• 10 or more years of technology and IT experience, with minimum of 6 years in IT Infrastructure services (compute/network/UCC) in delivery and/or architecture and engineering and/or Operations domains
• Comprehensive understanding of local and wide area networks and topologies, compute and storage technologies, voice and video communications platforms, end-user device technologies, as well as collaboration/sharing platforms.
  
  
• Proven ability to manage large financial/ budget for the projects

Mandatory Non-Technical Skills

• Proven ability in managing large scale infrastructure refreshes, consolidating, and modernizing technology footprints, cloud integration and migration, and network traffic/capacity optimization
• Ability to lead multiple internal and vendor teams effectively, manage deliverables and outcomes through multiple managed service providers
• Experience working in a global environment with stakeholders across multiple geographies
• Understanding of IT project budget management, planning and forecasting.
  
  
• String communication and presentation skills
• Key would be the role demands executive presence and financial acumen to ensure our CIO customer base

• Ability to work with virtual teams (remote work locations) and lead team of external technical resources (contractors) based in multiple locations globally
• Lead technical discussions, driving clarity of complex issues/requirements to build robust solutions
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure library) certification
• Ability to work with agile delivery methodologies in the infrastructure space
• Strong communication skills to meet with business, understand sometimes ambiguous, needs, and translate to clear, aligned requirements
