Period and other terms and conditions of deputation :

 

The initial period of deputation shall be for three years extendable by a further period of two years as per Department of Personnel & Training OMNo.

The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

  1. Eligibility for Government Accommodation

 

As per the ongoing arrangement, the officers appointed in the UIDAI will be eligible for General Pool Residential Accommodation at par with Central Government employees 5 Eligible and willing candidate may apply through proper channel in prescribed format: Annexure I Cadre authorities/ Head of Departments are requested to forward applications of eligible and willing candidates whose services can be spared on deputation immediately on their selection The applications of only such officers would be considered that are routed through proper channel and are accompanied by following documents:

 

  1. Application in prescribed pro-forma - Annexure I.

 

  1. Cadre Clearance Certificate from the Controlling Authority

 

  • Statement giving detail of Major/ Minor penalties, imposed upon the Officer, if any, during the last ten (10) years (Annexure II)
  1. Vigilance Clearance/Integrity Certificate (Annexure II)

 

  1. Photocopies of the ACRs/APARs for the last five (5) years duly attested on each

 

page by an officer not below the level of Under Secretary or equivalent (Annexure II)

  1. While forwarding the application it may also be verified and certified by the cadre controlling authority that the particulars furnished by the applicant are correct

About Uidai Unique Identification Authority Of India
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is a statutory authority established under the provisions of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (“Aadhaar Act 2016”) on 12 July 2016 by the Government of India, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

Prior to its establishment as a statutory authority, UIDAI was functioning as an attached office of the then Planning Commission (now NITI Aayog) vide its Gazette Notification No.-A-43011/02/2009-Admn.I) dated 28th January, 2009. Later, on 12 September 2015, the Government revised the Allocation of Business Rules to attach the UIDAI to the Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) of the then Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

UIDAI was created with the objective to issue Unique Identification numbers (UID), named as "Aadhaar", to all residents of India that is (a) robust enough to eliminate duplicate and fake identities, and (b) can be verified and authenticated in an easy, cost-effective way. The first UID number was issued on 29 September 2010 to a resident of Nandurbar, Maharashtra. To check the total number of enrollment standing as on today and update. It is more than 120 crore .

Under the Aadhaar Act 2016, UIDAI is responsible for Aadhaar enrolment and authentication, including operation and management of all stages of Aadhaar life cycle, developing the policy, procedure and system for issuing Aadhaar numbers to individuals and perform authentication and also required to ensure the security of identity information and authentication records of individuals.
