Deputy Manager - HR Business Partner Lead is responsible for building a strong HR relationship with stakeholders, building strategies and mechanisms to drive performance management, associate engagement, and development, career counseling/coaching, and compliance of HR practices and guidelines The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization Job Description
  • Partner with the leadership to understand the business environment and work priorities develop and execute HR strategies, policies/processes, and people agenda
  • Responsible for aligning business objectives with management and employees and is the link between HR and the business
  • Accelerate change and be an effective change agent to meet business imperatives aligning with the industry HR best practices
  • Drive Olam's culture and ensure every decision, processes and policies reflect the culture and employee value proposition of the organisation
  • Advise and support managers on strategic issues and help them implement high-performing, integrated human resources practices
  • Define crucial activities from an HR/business partnering standpoint to get desired outcomes and drive HR strategy to enable the organization to be the employer of choice brand
  • Engage with the function/BU heads to improve employee relations and drive engagement programs for the supporting business units
  • Drive Inclusion and Diversity (IDEO - Inclusion, Diversity, Equality at Olam) across the organisation, and be a champion in designing policies and programs to promote the objectives of IDEO
  • Manage satisfaction programs to improve morale and retention promote an environment that encourages employee growth
  • Review results of People Surveys and work with leadership to affect change implementation of primary HR processes like competency benchmarking, annual/mid-year promotions and appraisal, performance management, compensation & benefits etc
  • Partner with the L&D team to assess skill gaps with leadership and execute plans for skill development areas
Profile Description
  • MSW/MBA in HR from a top reputed institute with 10 to 12 years of HR experience as HRBP role with any reputed multinational ITeS/GIC set up
  • Ability to build strategic business partnership, analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Proven ability in working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, building morale, and increasing productivity and retention
  • Able to build relationships internally and externally, collaborate across the organization to maximize outcomes of people processes
  • Ability to think big picture, understand the business functions, their needs and requirements and strategically connect business challenges to HR agenda and outcomes
  • Excellent knowledge in providing performance management guidance to line management (e.

    g, coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Ability to build synergies among different functions of HR and across locations
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills, excellent analytical/logical skills, ability to communicate with impact and be able to convince, and negotiate effectively with business leaders/product owners
  • Willing to travel to different geographies basis business needs
