Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Scientist B from graduate engineers and post graduate youth in science A total of 630 will be recruited These recruitments will be done in DRDO, Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) The application process has started from 6th July.

Vacancy Details
There are 579 vacancies of Scientist B in DRDO, 8 in DST and 43 in ADA.
Maximum Age Limit -
DRDO - 28 Years
DST - 35 years
ADA - 30 years
SC and ST category will get a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit and three years for OBC
Pay - Level-10 (7th CPC) Pay Matrix - 56,100/-.
The salary at the time of joining will be around Rs88000
Selection Process
GATE Score, Written Exam & Personal Interview
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE score and written test
After that they will be called for interview at Delhi or any other place
Candidates who do not have Degree in Engineering or MSc with First Division can only apply for DST.
