Electrical R D Engineer Job In Vanderlande Industries Software Private Limited In Pune, India

• Control panel design according to UL508A, IEC-60204, IEC 61439 regulations
• Understanding & working knowledge of E-Plan Electric P8
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical (added advantage)
• Concepts and requirements of Machine Design Safety standards
• Safety related parts of control systems
• Direct experience designing UL/IEC rated cabinets and enclosures to accommodate PLC controlled systems, including power distribution, motor protection and control, industrial communication and networking (ie ASi-bus, Ethernet, Profinet, TCP/IP, Control-net)
• Experience designing controls systems involving multiple hardware platforms for industrial control applications, including A-B/Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, SEW, Nord etc etc.
  
  

• Translate concepts into realized alternatives, with a focus on own discipline, taking into account the functionality, feasibility, quality, manufacturability, costs, and completion time
• Takes into account other relevant disciplines Makes optimum use of team members expertise
• Responsible for maintaining equipment product lines, including supporting documentation
• Work on defined planning for the work to be done, estimates the workload, lead time and communicate to relevant colleagues about changes and risks pro-actively Adapts to changes and is solution oriented
• Finalizes a design and its deliverables, according to our processes, in order to guarantee a smooth transition to the relevant stakeholders
• Make improvements to existing equipment designs

• Understanding of a variety of hardware
• Understanding of product data/document lifecycle management software Enovia, Bitbucket, JIRA and Agile tool suits
• Knowledge of controls engineering theories and principles
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
