Engineer Product Design Job In Emerson In India, Pune

• Get part of innovative product development team involved in end-to-end product development for global market
• Generate new creative ideas & design concepts
• Convert ideas/concepts into workable models/proof of concepts
• Carry out prior verification of ideas/ concepts by analytical calculations, sketches, 3D modelling,
• Validate the designs thru prototyping, testing and analysis
• Prepare detail designs, drawings, and Bill of materials
• Maintain deliverable quality
• Release the BOM and handle BOM changes in ERP systems- Oracle
• Use Creo 30 or latest version for 3D modelling and drawings
• Communicate day-to-day work with technical leads, project in charge & team members
• Participate in cross-function project meetings with global team members for regular status update

• BE/ME Mechanical
• 5+' experience in product design and development of industrial products Candidate must have sound experience of plastic, castings, Sheetmetal parts design, product validation & getting manufactured

• Experience of working in global engineering development environment
• Experience of Low Voltage Plugs, Sockets, Rotary Switches, Local Control Stations
• Knowledge of international certification standards like UL, CSA & IEC is an added advantage
