• Reciprocating thanks to the owner's/ Charterers for appointing ASPL as their agents for the Vessel's calling in Indian Port's under our agency
• Understanding requirement of the clients
• Replying to the queries of Owner's/Charterer's with regard to Port information or any other related information
• Co-ordinating with Master/Owner's for getting required pre-arrival information for completing inward/outward clearance
• Giving ETA notices to Shipper's/Receiver's/Terminal/Charterers with copy to Owner's, on daily basis.
  
  
• Updating berthing prospect of vessel to Owner/Charter/Master via calls, emails on daily basis
• Monitor vessel IGM/VCN & check whether all port documents are submitted to port and port has given readiness to berth the vessel once vessel arrives at port as per their berthing schedule
• Obtain IGM information (No/ Date) via E-mail/SMS from Branch offices
• Updating information in-house software "Port Agency Management".
  
  

• Tendering Notice of Readiness (NOR) to Receivers/Shippers/Terminal/Charterer/Owners when Vessel is ready in all respect to load/discharge as per relevant charter party and as per instruction from vessel Master/Owner
• Provide all necessary information to Master for smooth berthing of vessel
• Updating vessel log during loading/discharging/any other operation and sending it to Receivers/Shippers/Terminal/Charterer/Owners as instructed by person In charge for agency appointment
• Issuing Original Bill of lading (OBL) on behalf of Master/Owners if it is requested by Master/Owner
• Coordinating with our Branch (operations) and getting all latest operation information regarding vessel loading/discharging etc.
  
  
• Contacting Branch office's - boarding officer, for getting all information in order to keep all concerned informed, well in time
• Obtain Vessel's timings from branches in unique standard format
• Obtain Unique Berthing Prospect (finalised in the daily berthing meeting) in order to send it to all concerned
• Ensure that Services Quotations are sent promptly through DA Dept

• After completion of loading/discharging operation, sending cargo operation documents to all concerned as required.
  
  
• Preparing PST files after vessel's sailing for our future records
• Monitoring "services" to be provided to ships in co-ordination with service department
• Obtain Cargo Operation Documents from branches in unique standard format
