ROLE PURPOSEThis position is part of the P2P Global Process Owner organization within Sanofi Business Services (SBS) The purpose of the Global T&E Solution Manager is to ensure globally the functional management of T&E solutions (process & systems), in line with T&E Core Model, Sanofi organization and standardized ways of workingThe Global T&E Solution Manager supports the daily business operations by making sure that T&E tools are operating efficiently This comprises 3 key areas:
  • T&E Tools Release Management and Change Request Management: T&E solution evolution, new features impact assessment
  • Project Management: Organizational changes (new entities, mergers and acquisitions, divestments etc.

    ), tool extensions after global rollouts, ERP changes
  • Advanced administration and support: functional tickets management, global Concur configuration
KEY RESPONSABILITIESGlobal T&E tool Advanced Administration
  • Perform Concur configuration activities (eg creation/update of expense types, audit rules, forms and fields, receipt handling, car configuration, reminders and email notifications, group/policy configuration etc) keeping standardization and global Core Model in mind
  • Ensure the proper management of data and related administrative task within T&E system.

    (eg system access, user permission management, role matrix update)
  • Monitor interfaces with external databases (eg CRM, HCP etc.

    ) and ensure they are properly working
  • Run yearly global user review
  • Create/edit/run global reporting
  • Make suggestions of improvements by analyzing current process/system and new Concur functionalities available
Management of T&E Tool Release and Change Request Process
  • Assess new releases, highlight impact on our environment/users and trigger appropriate actions (eg information to local/regional T&E stakeholders, user communication etc)
  • Manage overall communication to countries on new releases, change request, new functionalities etc
  • Assessment of the Change Requests coming from regions/countries to determine global scalability/need based on legal requirement, potential for optimization/improvement, effort/cost vs.

  • After assessment and in coordination with T&E Global Process Lead agree on implementation plan or challenge the need and enforce the standard
  • Assess and address impact of neighboring process/system/policy changes on the T&E tool
Project Management Activities
  • Contribute to or lead T&E projects and ensure to deliver the expected benefits in terms of efficiency, cost and quality
  • Represent Global T&E in projects of neighboring functions (eg.

    new SAP implementation etc) and propose adequate solutions in line with the T&E Core Model and keeping in mind a globalized and standardized T&E system
  • Strong collaboration on all projects and process topics with the regional/local T&E teams and other global neighboring functions like Finance, Procurement and ITS
  • Manage extension of Concur to new legal entities/business units
  • Enrich/Create test scripts covering relevant business scenarios and coordinate/perform system testing/UAT whenever required
  • Manage stakeholder meetings/follow-ups targeting a clear outcome
  • Support automation/RPA/chatbot implementation initiatives and ensure the prerequisites for their proper functionality in day-to-day business.

Advanced T&E support and recurrent activities
  • Answer questions of regional/local T&E teams on Core Model Processes, requests for Information, business issues resolution
  • Prepare and manage documentation (eg technical documentations, knowledge base articles, presentations to relevant stakeholders etc)
  • Prepare global user communication/information/training materials
  • Manage incidents and requests escalated by lower support levels or local/regional stakeholders
  • Involve stakeholders (e.

    g internal Digital/ITS department, Concur support etc) as required for incident/request resolution
  • Monitor activity of lower support levels to ensure proper resolution of support cases
  • Help lower support levels to develop their knowledge and skills (incl providing relevant documentation, trainings and refresher)
  • Prepare metrics and KPIs
Responsibility and geographical scope
  • Global role covering the T&E process and Concur operation in 100 countries, for more than 50000 user raising up to 700.

    000 expense reports per year
  • Complex business environment including the collaboration with a Shared Services Centre
  • No direct reports but management of processes and systems with plenty of stakeholders in an interlinked and complex business environment
Expected Skills
  • Very good understanding of T&E process
  • Very good understanding of Concur system and the way it can connect to neighboring systems (eg.

    ERP, CRM etc)
  • General capability to understand technology
  • Rigorous, assertive and structured
  • Personality with strong delivery skills and focused on results
  • Transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, geographies, languages, cultures, business maturity levels
  • Project management skills (Ability to identify problems and define solutions incl implementation plans in a structured manner)
  • Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Ability to think strategically and take a helicopter view, but also be able to dive deep into operational problems when required
  • Strong commitment to permanent process/system improvements and standardization
  • Good communicator with skills in change management and networking
  • High level of autonomy
  • Fluent in business English
  • Advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel: pivot tables, formulas, etc)
Background and Experience
  • At least 5 years proven direct work experience with T&E and SAP Concur Expense implementation/advanced configuration/advanced support
  • Proven experience in working with unrestricted configuration access to SAP Concur Professional Expense site
  • Experience with work in an international environment
  • Professional certification - SAP Concur Expense configuration represents is a plus
