Kfri Kerala Forest Research Institute Recruitment For The Post Of Internship Training Programme In Thrissur

This internship training is designed to equip the students with theoretical knowledge and hands on exposure in the fields of analytical instruments applicable in the research areas of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Environmental Science etc On successful completion of the period, an exam will be conducted and certificates will be issued

Objectives of the programme are: A) To equip the Students with the theoretical aspects of different analytical methods such as spectroscopy, chromatography etc

B) Impart training on procedures in handling sophisticated analytical instruments including GC-MS, HPC, ICP-AES, AAS, CHNS analyser etc

C) Training on data keeping and routine maintenance of analytical instruments


Eligibility Criteria: Candidates with Post graduation in Science.

Those who had completed the course within last 3 years will be given priority

Duration : 3 months (Jan - March 2019)

Fees : Rs 10000/-

Selection Procedure: Selection to the programme will be based on post-graduation (PG) mark merit, written test and interview

The Institute is dedicated to research in tropical forestry, environment and biodiversity conservation. In 2003, when the State owned R & D institutions were re-organized to constitute the Kerala State Council for Science and Technology (KSCSTE), KFRI also became part of the latter. The Institute is managed by a Management Committee (MC) chaired by the Director.
