It Business Senior Analyst Job In Citi In Pune, India

The IT Business Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planningResponsibilities:

• Utilizes good understanding of business analysis procedures and concepts for Custody, Settlement and Asset Servicing business flows and Data modelling of physical and logical data models for Custody business flows
• Interact with Product and Operations team globally to understand and clarify the requirements
• Write functional document while meeting agile implementation deadlines
• Review existing processes in place and come up with creative/automated solutions while working with technical teams
• Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and foster communication between business leaders and IT
• Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information
• Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provides user and operational support
• Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  
  
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
• Experience with data modelling skills / experience with ISO20022
• Experience with Jira / Confluence

Qualifications:

• 9+ years of strong business analyst experience within custody and financial services
• Extensive business analysis experience across a range of projects, programmes and domains
• Extensive experience of documenting use cases, functional specifications or similar
• Able to work as part of a virtual team in a culturally diverse background
• Strong data modelling skills / experience with tools such as Erwin
• Familiarity with modern data governance practices
• Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and time management skills

Education:

• Bachelors/Master Degree either in technology disciplines

• CBAP Certification would be a plus
