Job Details
(i) Post Code JRF-1/1 Post

DBT funded project entitled “Establishment of goat mammary epithelial/stem cell lines for the production of pharmaceutical interest proteins”

Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Etc) or Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M Tech in Life Sciences, M VSc Etc.

) The candidate should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ (CSIR/UGC-NET) as per DST OM dated 21102014, for applying the above positions, however non-qualified candidates can also apply who will be paid as per their eligibility

Desired Experience: Candidate with experience in Stem cell related work/ primary culture of mammalian cell / molecular biology/ Gene cloning technique/ farm animal handling is desirable.



Age: 28 years

Fellowship amount: If NET qualified then Rs25000/-PM+30% HRA = 32,500/- PM as per the DST guidelines

(ii) Post Code: JRF- 2/1 Post

Project entitled “Genomics for conservation of indigenous cattle breeds and for enhancing milk yield, Phase-I”

Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Etc) or Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M Tech in lifesciences, M.

VSc Etc) The candidate should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ (CSIR/UGC-NET) as per DST OM dated 2110.

) or Post Graduate degree in professional courses (MTech in Life Sciences, MVSc Etc) with two years of research experience.



The candidate should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ (CSIR/UGC-NET) as per DST OM dated 21102014, for applying the above positions, however non-qualified candidates can also apply who will be paid as per their eligibility

Desired Experience: Candidate with experience in Protein purification/ Nanoparticle development for gene delivery (chitosan, carbon dot, etc)/ primary culture of mammalian cell/ molecular biology/ Gene cloning technique/ laboratory animal (Mice, Rabbit) handling is desirable

Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Etc) or Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M Tech in Life Sciences, M.

VSc Etc) with two years of research experience

The candidate should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ (CSIR/UGC-NET) as per DST OM dated 2110.
