Eligibility :  Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree from a recognized University and should be well versed in Computer and typing

Scale of Pay :  PB-2, Rs 14,000-49,000/- with GP of Rs 8,700

Age Limit :  The minimum and the maximum age of the candidates shall be 18 years and 38 years respectively as on the last date of the submission of the online application.

(PWD candidates will get age relaxation of 10 years)

Application Fee :  The application fee to be paid by the candidates is Rs300/- Persons with disability (PWD) need not pay any fees

Selection Process:

Stage 1 :-  Written Examination (Objective type multiple choices) for 120 marks of 2 hours duration on OMR sheets testing the English Proficiency, General Knowledge, General Aptitude and Reasoning as well as knowledge of Assamese language (20 marks)

Stage 2 :-  Viva voce/Interview of 15 marks.

Candidates in the ratio of 1:3 (3 candidates for 1 post) in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination may be called to appear in the interview

The Gauhati High Court (Establishment of a Permanent Bench at Itanagar) order, 2000 came into force on the 12th day of August, 2000. The inauguration was done by the Honble Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India, Dr. A.S. Anand. It is located at Naharlagun, a picturesque location about 13 Km from the Capital town, Itanagar and 12 Km away from the Banderdewa Check Post between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
