Pay Matrix Level 2 (7hCPC)/Grade pay: Pay Matrix L-2 (G P Rs1900/-)

Minimum Edu/Tech qualification: 
a) 10th Pass OR
b) 10 Pass plus Course completed Act Apprentice/ITI certificate granted by NCVT in relevant trades The training period of Sports Quota appointees will be 03 years, unless they passes ITI qualification in the relevant trade, in which case it will be 06 months.


c) 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on Computer is essential

Educational Qualification:
Technician III: The candidate must be 10th passed from a recognized board with an ITI certificate granted by NCVT
Junior Clerk Typist: The candidate must be 12th passed from a recognized board with a typing proficiency in Hindi/ English

Age Limit: 18-25 years as on 01/01/2022

Popularly labeled the Dream Project by the local media, the Project was sanctioned under the Supplementary Demand for Grants for the Railways in 2006. Initially envisaged as a Joint Venture, it is now coming up as a wholly Departmental Unit. The objective of this project is to set up facilities for manufacture of modern design Coaches for the Indian Railways, simultaneously aiding development and generation of employment opportunities in the area. The foundation stone was laid by the Hon’ble Chairperson, UPA Smt. Sonia Gandhi on 13th February, 2007. Factory Construction, however, could only start in mid 2010, where after the pace has steadily accelerated with the first phase of Production starting in April, 2011.
