In our inclusive and flexible environment everyone can bring their authentic selves to work About the RoleWithin the Corporate Solutions Data Science Centre of Excellence, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist In this role, you will have following fundamental responsibilities:

• Work alongside a technically sophisticated team of data scientists and data engineers within our Bangalore hub
• Build up and maintain data science best practices, standards and appropriate model governance Inspiring others to raise minimum standards to a new level
• Develop and deploy advanced machine learning and AI models according to the established data science best practices
• You are expected to use a wide variety of open-source technologies

Required Skills:

• Master's degree in STEM/Economics/Statistics/Engineering Graduate strong Data/Analytical/Programming skills
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Data Science or equivalent field
• You are someone who can conceive of pragmatic ways to take our vision to reality.
  
  You have a good technical capability you are familiar with a range of data technologies and ideally have direct experience in working with Palantir Preferred technical capabilities:
• Python, Pyspark, R, SQL and related big data technologies
• Descriptive, prescriptive and predictive modeling techniques
• Hands-on experience with analytics and data science frameworks
• You communicate clearly and simply, even when dealing with complicated problems and ideas, and do so both orally and in writing When interacting with colleagues, you adjust your communication style to meet the needs of others
• You are open-minded, intellectually curious and enjoy continually learning from a variety of sources
• Ideally, you've got experience in the insurance industry or tech company
• You demonstrate strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in analytics
• A self-starter and able to solve problems and develop solutions
