Essential Qualification :MSc In Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Wildlife Biology/ Environmental Science/ Bio-technology or equivalent from a recognized University
Desirable: Experience of working in Sunderbans/ Mangroves/ Protected Areas and Knowledge of Computer and basic field, data collection, field photography etc.
Fellowship: Rs 16, 000/- PM + HRA as admissible

How to Apply for Junior Research Fellows / Data Entry Operators
Interested candidates are requested to send their applications only by mail to technical@zsi.gov.in on or before 7th August, 2019. The applications will be short listed and uploaded in the ZSI website on 8th August 2019.
Interview for the shortlisted candidates will be held on 14th August, 2019 in the Zoological Survey of India, HQ Office, M-Block, New Alipore, Kolkata-53 from 11.00 am onwards.
Candidates appearing for the interview are required to register from 10:00-11:00 AM on the day of interview at ZSI, M-Block, New Alipore, Kolkata – 700 053. Candidates should bring the duly filled in application with attested true copies of testimonials of qualifications, experience, date of birth etc. along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations.

About Zoological Survey Of India
The Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) was established on 1st July, 1916 to promote survey, exploration and research leading to the advancement in our knowledge of various aspects of exceptionally rich life of the erstwhile British Indian Empire .The survey has its genesis in the establishment of the Zoological Section of the Indian Museum at Calcutta in 1875. By gradually strengthening its staff and expanding its research programme, the Survey has met the challenge of the past and is on its way to meet the demands of the future. It has maintained its primary objectives unchanged from its inception.
