Role : Manual TesterNo of Position : 5Location : RemoteNotice Period : 30 days (1st Feb 15th Feb)Experience : 5+ years Key Accountabilities: Develop a good understanding of the business, workflow, functionality and systems under test Requires to design functional test scenarios and data for testing Regulatory changes This role requires direct hand-on testing and also some overall test planning responsibilities ie effort estimation, status reporting etc.

Ensure functionality is tested against requirements with good test coverage using the existing test automation frameworks and by following in sprint test automation Develop understanding with existing automation tools and continuously look for opportunities to improve testing Interacting with SQL server database for verification and validation of all Backend operations Using the logs, database etc to perform comprehensive analysis of any error to assist in working out the root cause of the issue prior to recording in a defect tracking tool.

Skills:Mandatory: Minimum 5 years testing experience Strong exp in Functional testing (test designing, execution and reporting), strong in SQL/Oracle DB, Unix, agile and JIRA Hands-on experience on database technologies such as SQL Server/Oracle and Unix environment Strong analytical and problem solving skills Effective verbal and written English communication skills Strong knowledge and experience in Functional testing Ability to manage changing requirements in a highly dynamic environment Must be a good team player, able to communicate and collaborate well with people in and outside the team Proactive and willingness to learn Good to Have: Candidate must have experience developing test strategies, creating and executing test plans, designing test cases, leveraging test tools, running tests, and managing and tracking defects Test automation using core Java and Selenium will be added advantage Understanding of the finance markets & financial products will be added advantage.
