Job Responsibilities
- Supervises the Materials function within the department by overseeing the hotel procurement and ensures best quality & rates available as per budget, pre-laid processes (Materials manual) Assists the Materials Department with a view to maximise profitability and achieves desired financial results
- Coordinates with all user departments
- Follows up with vendors for timely delivery as per the specifications
- Ensures contracts are followed as per the laid out process.
- Ensures all safety related requirements are communicated to vendors
- Conducts site visits on regular basis
- Uses E-procurement tools as decided as per the unit plan
- Ensures payments are done on time
