Position: Mid-Level Maintenance EngineerExperience: 5-8 years, strictly in maintenance and development, preferably in auto industry or automated sheet metal fabrication line (mechanical plus electrical or electronic maintenance is plus)Roles:1 Maintenance leadership for continuous operation of machines2 Development3 Commissioning, installation and line adjusting of new machinery and processes4 Project planning5.
Spares managementResponsibilities:1 Maintenance of machines such as resistance seam welding machine, metal forming machines such as corrugator, seamer on pnematic line, hydraulic presses, power presses, crane, PLC, compressor, transformer, painting booth, curing oven etc2 Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods for preventive, predictive, breakdown maintenance, Total Productivity Maintenance (TPM)3 Training operators and maintenance workers in maintenance of machines4.
Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment fault5 Diagnosing breakdown problems6 Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly7 Carrying out quality inspections on repair and rehaul jobs8 Liaising with engineering and production colleagues for production challenges9.
Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components10 Controlling maintenance tools, spares and equipment inventory and maintaining history of each machine and development work11 Budgeting, monitoring and controlling maintenance costs12 Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs13 Improving health and safety policies and procedures in coordination with Production Engineer14.
Working with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery on factory assembly lines15 Writing maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines 16 Ensuring there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdownsRequired Skills:1 Reviewing and planning2 Vendor/ contractor management3.
