Qualification: Graduate Degree and above with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized University and approved by NCTE OR

Graduate Degree and above withal least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (BEd) from Recognised University and approved by NCTE OR

BSc.

(Science & Mathematics) and above with at least 50% marks with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognised University and approved by NCTE or I (one) year Bachelor of Education (13Ed) from recognised University and approved by NCTE OR Graduate with at least 50% marks with 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) or BEd (Special Education) recognised by RCI

2) Passed in Mizoram Teacher EligibilityTest

3) Working knowledge of Mizo langisigeat least Middle School standard.

4) For Nepali/Gorkha Middle School, the candidates should possess Nepali as one of the subjects either in HSLC or HSSLC level
