JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS for HCL Off Campus Drive 2019 Hiring:

1.

GET

• Implementation of Six sigma projects
• Working on Network Device / Unix Server / Storage Devices (depending upon your respective domain)
• Ensuring Data center uptime according to SLAs
• Implementing New technologies and Design changes
• Applying patches/upgrades to maintain security level
• Responsible for building and maintaining Test environment
• Independent troubleshooting within SLA
• Manage Customer escalations
• Identify avenue for value adds and present value add summary
• Troubleshooting technical issues related to Network/Server/Storage devices
• Handling tickets/Requests
• Update the knowledge base
• Technically upgrade across versions of environment when required
• Participation in Monthly steering committee meetings (as required)
• Participate in monthly QA audits

Java/ Nodejs Developer

Java or Nodejs or REACTDeveloper role would involve coding against an application To understand business requirement and implement business logics accordingly Need to provide efficient technical solution to fulfil the requirement.

Developer will be responsible for coding or developing against a requirement

• Exposure to one or more of programming environments – Java, Nodejs, JEE, Java Script, Jquery, Spring MVC, REST, Angular JS, Node JS, ReactJS
• Object Oriented concepts with good Programming and Analytical skills
• Exposure to IDE tools like Eclipse

• Knowledge and awareness of virtualization and cloud Hands on with these technologies will be an added advantage Self-learning in projects/labs would be added advantage

• Candidates should be hands on with basic OS like win7/win8/win10 Should have understanding of OS task manager/process/services, firewall, CPU, memory, control panel, security settings
• Should have hands on working with vmware workstation or oracle virtual-box
• Candidate should be interested in automation and enthusiastic to know new and upcoming technologies in the market Knowledge of SDDC is an added advantage.

• Participate in customer discussion on technologies with existing and new customers and deliver service capability presentations
• Contribute to developing technical project plans, activity list for Infra and cloud security technologies
• Develop a knowledge base, re-usable components for Practice
• Execute project /Implement technology as per project plan
• Work on the POC of niche technologies
• Work with the Product Management team to develop new preposition and offering
• Contribute to creating complete life cycle documentation new products and offerings

Skills Needed:
o Basic knowledge of infrastructure security components like Firewall, AV etc.


o Basic Knowledge on networking and operating system
o Basic knowledge on Cloud offerings (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS)
o Knowledge on python scripting, investigation/audit tools (port scan tools, windows utilities, Linus/Unix utilities) is desirable
o Proficient in MS-Office suite (Excel, PPT, Doc)
o MS-Office (Mandatory)
o Project Management Tool (Microsoft Project) – preferred
o Linux/Unix/Windows – Preferred
o Python/Shell scripting – Preferred COMPTIA Security +

Certification (preferred not mandatory)
o Any Infrastructure tool certification (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Mcafee, Symantec etc)
