Job Description Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree preferred 5 5+- 8 years' experience as a Packaging Engineer Knowledge of ISO, ASTM and ISTA Packaging Standards Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, MS Project, and one or more drawing programs (Creo, Solidworks, Auto CAD, Adobe Illustrator, or similar programs) "Certified Packaging Professional" or equivalent issued by recognized institute desired Attention to detail, hands-on, and self-motivated Excellent interpersonal skills Energized by working on multiple projects Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesThe following are preferred:

• Experience designing and developing electro mechanicalpackaging for medical devices
• Advanced degree or other advanced qualifications
• Understanding of commonly used packaging materials in the medical device industry

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Normal office conditions and manufacturing operations
• Clinical Environment
• International travel to Design Centers, Manufacturing plants and Contract manufacturing facilities
