Differentiated by the quality of our people and our relentless drive to deliver the most successful outcomes, we align our capabilities to our customers' objectives to create a lasting positive impact This position is for the Gurgaon and Vadodara office on contractual role - 1 Year and extendableROLE OVERVIEWEvaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications Requires a basic knowledge of design and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, graphic arts, 2-D and 3-D CAD, reading of drawings and reproduction methods used by the discipline Directly performs the work of designers and drafters of a design group for a business line technology.

This work includes the preparation of layouts, study drawings, detailed 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design models and construction drawings Prepares design and drafting procedures to standardize design effort Coordinates or makes jobsite visits, as required, to resolve problems and interpret drawings and documents Reviews or defines engineering scope changes, as required, for project management Endorses or prepares reports of work progress, as required, for project and discipline use.

Supports the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation and satisfaction Participates in one or more of the following: a) Equipment design and development b) System design, including concept sketches and layouts c) Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers or by suppliers d) Preparation or review of engineering studies and reports e) Preparation or review of material quantity estimates f) Uses engineering computer aided design/computer aided engineering (CAD/CAE) tools Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors of a moderate degree of complexity, and prepares comments and recommendations Assists in preparation of forecasts, quantity take-offs and change orders Understands roles played by other disciplines on the project.

Contacts counterpart in other disciplines, supplier/client representatives and project field personnel when directed, to either gather or give information BASIC QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of the application of engineering and construction materials related to the discipline's design responsibilities Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, design criteria and codes relevant to the discipline Knowledge of discipline Design Guides, mathematical formulae and design calculations used in the discipline Knowledge of 3D/2D tools, such as SP3D, Microstation etc.

• Specialized courses in drafting, design and engineering practices, and CAD, OR
• A recognized degree/ diploma in an engineering or scientific discipline, AND
• Extensive experience in design and drafting
• Application of computer aided engineering (CAE)/computer aided design (CAD) tools to engineering problems

Basic skill in oral and written communication.
