Job description Job Description BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience particularly in Pre-Engineered Buildings/ Steel structures/ Fabrication & Erection jobs Candidates must have Roles and Responsibilities Analysis and Design of simple to complex Steel Structures (PEB) by using Auto CAD and STAAD Pro programs 1 Knowledge of AISC, IS and European codes.

Able to do hand calculation of any element of steel building2 Plan, organize engineering activities of the design and estimation to ensure timely and accurate completion of work3 Ensure compliance with customer requirements, structural stability, soundness, design safety, conformance with relevant design codes at optimum cost4.

Assist field sales in recommending on optimum design solutions on special projects and ensure design is compatible with design requirements5 Enhance existing computerised design and drafting applications to improve Productivity and cycle time6 Participate meetings with consultants to secure approval of design submittals.

7 Site visits to analyse and propose solutions for field problems and erection errors Training engineers to achieve optimum results8 Leading group of design engineers in carrying out the design and detailing of projects during the quote & job stage.

9 Engineering & approval of design drawing and release of drawing for erections and manufacturing10 Alert other departments such as special and non-standard inventory items, special requirements & discrepancies in material quantities11.

Responsible for ensuring proper planning of shop drawing release to workshop, ensure that adequate resources are mobilized for detailing, solve detailing queries, monitor their progress and provide administrative support, as requireShould have good technical knowledge and able to read and execute the drawings, Day to day planning and managing site activities, Knowledge of material inspection, supervising labor teams and overall site management Coordination and monitoring should be the key skill Must have good communication skill and computer knowledge
