They provide wired and wireless EMR connectivity utilizing encryption to give caregivers protected access to real-time patient information, as well as compatibility with Active Directory and Single Sign On to provide quick and secure access for clinicians Other features provided like cardiac assessment, early warning scores, and EtCO2 can help ensure the safety for higher risk patients by identifying patient deteriorationPosition OverviewA Principal Engineer (SW Testing) for software will be responsible for testing of products and providing creative solutions associated with test design, Automation Script development, sustaining engineering for our new and existing software product portfolio The successful candidate will possess solid 'hands-on' technical abilities, an excitement and energy for product development, and a passion for their work and the impact it has on meeting the needs of patientsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 15 years of experience in Software Development & Testing
• Responsible for the Test architecture and design of a module/project, makes architecture and design choices for new product development, sustenance activities, field issue resolution etc.
  
  
• Prepares,Reviews and approves test design of a module/project
• Owns/leads test strategy and roadmap for the product line
• Demonstrates customer focus by ensuring quality of software releases and timely resolution of field reported issues
• Responsible for analyzing and understanding the requirements
• Identifies key module/product level technical risks (Testing) and assists project manager in developing mitigation and recovery plan
• Review work products and ensure the quality of deliverables
• Provides guidance to test teams with respect to overall design and development
• Leads and coaches the team members
• Drives the application of principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and testing techniques
• Owns and drives continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps.
  
  

Qualifications / Experience and/or Background

• Excellent Test architecture, design and implementation skills (preferably for an application ground up)
• Deep understanding of technology & software development principles:Analysis and Design: TDD, Black box automation, Ability to design Stubs as part of Grey box automationProgramming Languages like PythonDevelopment and Continuous Integration tools like Visual Studio/Eclipse, SVN, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, BitBucket, Jira etc
• Experience in technically leading project teams involving Test engineers
• Exposure and Hands on working knowledge in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Demonstrated success in delivering results on technical challenges on enterprise products
• Good understanding of Healthcare domain (regulations and standards) and Medical software development process
