To design, develop and deliver high-quality software with a high level of productivity Responsible for mentoring and guiding other team members to elevate their performance

1. Scope:

Responsible for architectural design and creating high-level and detailed design specifications, converting them into code Supports implementation and functional/integrated testing, additionally guides the team to meet deliverables.

1. How You Will Spend Your Days:

Key Accountability% of Time spentSuccess MeasureConverting software requirements to design documentsUnderstands and decodes software requirements for development, converts them into component architecture and design for varying complexity levels Uses novel design approaches to leverage on benefits of a common architecture for different vehicle lines with slightly varying customer requirements 20% Schedule adherence, Internal sign-off on the system High level of reusability Coding and development Converting the design into efficient code using high level of coding language proficiency, while also guiding other team members Leads the development of features/functions with the scrum team Participates in review of work products to debug and address any complex architectural issues.

35% Schedule adherence - On time delivery, Number of defects Implementation and testing Responsible for the implementation and unit-level testing of components developed Works on defect resolution to fix identified defects in existing systems or the future release as an enhancement Works to identify and implement test methodologies at unit /integration/functional level Works to provide a quick turnaround for reported defects with the necessary documentation 15% Schedule adherence and defects delivered, SLA adherence for defects reported Documentation and reporting Compliance with standards for technical documentation and reporting within the team and stakeholders.

Builds repository of team's collective knowledge, seeks information and leverages knowledge to drive efficiency and effectiveness 10% Number of reusable artefacts created, Schedule adherence for reporting and zero non-compliance on process Automation and process improvement Implements automation, applies scripting language wherever possible to minimize manual overheads Comes up with innovate ideas to improve the quality and efficiency of software development 10% Percentage of effort Saved People development Leads and is accountable for project delivery, also provides informal leadership and mentoring to junior members Reviews work products and guides the team.

1. Key Experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred)
• 10+ years of automotive software development
• Excellent proficiency in the software languages required (Ex: C, C++, Java, etc)
• Knowledge of automotive and domain features and different functions, systems
• Familiarity with DevOps process, tools and methodologies
• Good knowledge of software development life cycle
• Experienced in handling multiple projects simultaneously to completion
• Familiarity in Continuous improvement and build process
• Experienced in Agile/SCRUM terminologies
• Good understanding of autospice process to guide others
• Solution to overcome business & technical challenges to achieve set goals and objectives
