Tech Degrees with undergraduate in Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/Electrical Engineering

Research Project Areas :  1) Power and Control Electronics 2) Medical Electronics (Data analysis) 3) EMI / EMC 4) Linear Accelerator (Physics / Electronics) 5) RF & Microwave systems (Antenna, Receiver system, High power RF electronics etc) 6) Radars for Atmospheric & Industrial Application 7) Antenna for RF, Microwave & Terahertz 8) Signal processing for Microwave / RF / Optoelectronics 9) Image processing for Microwave / RF / Optoelectronics 10) Laser spectroscopy and Terahertz

Stipend/Accommodation :  No stipend or accommodation will be provided to the selected students However they will be given permission to travel in SAMEER bus from Vikhroli railway station on central line and subsidized canteen food

Selection :  Selection will be done purely on the basis of the academic performance of the student and personal interview.

Society for Applied Microwave Electronic Engineering and Research - SAMEER was set up in 1984 as an autonomous R & D laboratory at Mumbai under the then Department of Electronics, Government of India with a broad mandate to undertake R & D work in the areas of Microwave and Electromagnetic Engineering Technology. It is an offshoot of the special microwave products unit (SMPU) set up in 1977 at the TATA INSTITUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH (TIFR), Mumbai.The centre for Electromagnetics, Chennai of the then Department of Electronics (DOE) was merged with SAMEER in 1987. CEM has been involved in the design, development, consultancy and testing activities in the areas of Antennas, Communication Systems, DSP, Electronic Packaging and Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility(EMI/EMC) since 1983. The centre has qualified and experienced scientists and serves Indian and global industries with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and expertise. EMI/EMC services of CEM are NABL accredited and recognised by various international bodies.
