Essential Qualifications& eligibility conditions:
1 Second class BVSc & A.
H/BVSc/ B.
Sc Agric/BA (Hons) or B.
Sc (Hons) in Economics/ Statistics
2 MVSc.
in any branch of Veterinary Science/Animal Science or MSc/MA in Agriculture/Economics/ Statistics.
3 Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level
Emoluments: Rs 30,000/- PM fixed
Job Responsibilities:
1.
To collect and tabulate data pertaining to animal production and reproduction at farm and in the field
2 To assist in research related to animal production and reproduction
3 Any other duties that may be assigned for.

Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) was established at Ludhiana by an act of the Punjab Legislature No. 16 of 2005 notified in the Punjab Government Gazette on August 9, 2005 and it started functioning w.e.f. April 21, 2006 for promoting livestock production, health and prevention of the disease(s) through integrated teaching, research and extension programme(s).
