This is paid, 16-week initiative with intent to transition our returners to permanent placement As diverse as our business is, as are the opportunities we have available Our cohort of Returnship participants will join multidisciplinary teams across a variety of divisions Your Focus:

• Planning and design of water supply / Sewerage scheme, costing, coordination and specifications
• Performing hydraulic analysis,calculations and modelling usingWaterGEMS across medium to large d cities, evaluate capacity of existing system, develop water supply strategy for future demand, optioneering and multi-criteria analysis to select most suitable water supply strategy, SWOT analysis of selected option and collate the outcome in a well-structured report.
  
  
• Develop clean water models to investigate constraints and generate solutions
• Master planning of water infrastructure for medium to large cities
• Review and check design calculations, drawings undertaken by other team members, to ensure technical correctness and conformance to project requirements, if required, for the Project requirements

As a participant, you will:

• Experience 16 weeks of on the job learning and exploration with a diverse community of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds
• Access the vast network of resources at Jacobs through continual leadership development, support and mentorship from our dedicated Returnship program team
• Be confident that you will receive ongoing support and mentorship and support as you navigate the transition with us to permanent employment
• Be a part of our Returnship cohort community participating in regular focus group feedback session and social events to facilitate a seamless transition as you return to the workforce

Here's What You'll Need:

• You will have a degree (or higher), with a numeric focus preferably in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engieering
• You have had a career break of at least 1 year
• You are interested in returning to work on a permanent basis (both part time and full-time options available)
• You have at least five years of relevant post graduate professional experience
• You are driven and thrive in a collaborative team
• You are available to start the Returnship program in April 2023
