Salesforce Technical Support Engineer Job In Academic Press Elsevier In Chennai, India

In This Role You Will:

• Work directly with various business leaders and sales teams
• Have direct accountability for end-user support
• Provide system and business process expertise when scoping projects and related integrations
• Review solution summaries where appropriate to ensure adherence to best practices and fit-for-purpose, user-focused development
• Have demonstrable growth mindset enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems
• Monitor integrations and troubleshoot issues
• Create documentation and champion knowledge sharing technical, business process, best practice, reference architecture, etc
• Apply advanced Salesforce technical principles and concepts contribute to the development of new principles and concepts
• Work under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives assignments are often self-initiated, determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results, work checked through consultation and agreement with business stakeholders more often than by formal review of superior

You Will Ideally Have the Following Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field preferred
• 2+ years previous administrative experience with Salesforce
• Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification preferred
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification preferred
• Experience working in Agile projects
• Strong understanding of how to build and support highly scalable and reliable solutions on Salesforce Platform
• Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous technical issues
• Demonstrative support success with at least one large Salesforce Org
• Understanding of UI design principles and best practices
• Exceptional analytical skills and experience working with large-scale, complex datasets
• Communication skills for both a technical and business audience
