Job DescriptionGeneral Summary:ConnectWise is looking for creative individuals with high aptitude, work ethic and drive that want to enhance their IT career through learning cybersecurity We will train those with basic networking and IT backgrounds to be security analysts Analysts will be part of our team performing the necessary operational activities for the review of alerts and monitoring client data sources for security related threats and breaches Analysts will have the opportunity to work with some of the largest IT managed service providersEssential Duties and Responsibilities:.

Be accountable and responsible for Ticket Creation, Threat Analysis, Resolution, and Escalation for a defined set of alerts and tickets Prioritize work and maintain a high level of professionalism in a highly dynamic work environment Meet performance objects Maintain a high degree of customer service Follow escalation procedures for interfacing with other analysts and teams.

Maintain consistent threat handling and remediation procedures (use of systems) Utilize the internal Knowledge Base to assist with the resolution of threats Other duties as assigned Follow ITIL practices regarding the incident, problem, and change management.

Any/ Computer science graduateJob RequirementKnowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required: Experience in participating in team environments.

Good understanding of Networking fundamentals and Operating systems Windows- Required, Unix/Linux - Will be a plus) Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with various audiences mature, confident, assertive communication style Needs to be flexible with shift hours.
