We believe skills and experience are transferrable, and the desire to dream big makes for great candidatesJob DescriptionWhat you get to do in this role:The Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance GTM is a critical role responsible for planning, forecasting and reporting related to ServiceNow's key topline related metrics, including, but not limited to Revenue and backlog / remaining performance obligationsReporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Finance - GTM, this person will lead a business-critical team providing financial visibility and business insights to ServiceNow leadership, including key components of the company's financial model and long range plan

• Be responsible for company-wide topline and sales compensation data analytics, enabling leadership to make critical decisions about the future of the company
• Drives both near-term and long-term growth initiatives through the Long-Range Planning and near-term forecasting processes
• Drive automation and improve existing planning and reporting processes
• Work closely with Investor relations and senior leadership to set long term and in year guidance for investors and analysts
• Partner with Sales Operations, Business Development, marketing, Compensation, Accounting, and other key leaders across the company in supporting the success of sales performance
• Build reporting and analyze business performance PowerBI and Tableau

QualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:

• 5+ years of work experience in sales operations, finance, strategy, investment banking, or management consulting
• Comfortable in a business partnership role and working with leadership
• Intellectually curious and interested in understanding beyond the 'what' as to the 'why' when conducting analyses
• Highly analytical, fact driven, process orientated, but comfortable challenging the status quo and setting new strategic/operational direction
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial accounting, and financial analysis
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, including strong communication and interpersonal abilities, the ability to distill complex processes into digestible terms is a must
• Understanding of data modeling and analysis, and experience with automation and machine learning supported forecast tools a strong plus
• A passion for modeling and analysis: proficient in working in large data sets and identifying trends / anomalies against expectations

FD21For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $104,900 - $173,100, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
