See your design comes to life and be part of defining the future productsAt Volvo Group Trucks Technology, we are currently looking for a Simulation and Analysis Engineer to join our fantastic team working on system simulation and data analytics!What do we doWe perform Simulation and Analysis of the complete powertrain system to predict the impact of changes in the product development process on the performance of the system like Fuel Economy Sound interesting We want you to join us!What will you doYou will work in agile teams through good collaboration with our colleagues in software development and design teams all around the worldYou along with the team will be responsible for understanding customer usage and performance of our products and for providing our solutions throughout entire product life cycle, from idea investigation and concept evaluation to industrialization and to aftermarket and maintenance You will make meaningful interpretations, recommendations and eventually predictions from the Data available from various sources to support our endeavour in moving towards Data Driven Powertrain DevelopmentYou get the opportunity to follow your Data Driven Models from script to test cell to verification in a truck and eventually to being used by our end customersWe have an agile way of working, where each team plan their activities in sprints and deliver solutions together as a team.

You must have a proven proficiency in Matlab/Simulink/AVL Cruise/GT Drive or similar tools and must have used it in improving the efficiency of the PowertrainYou have a willingness to learn and take more responsibility with can-do attitude You can work smoothly with Global Experts in Simulation and Analysis and show the potential to be able to stand on par with them You will contribute towards the realization of the simulation road map of powertrain engineering in Bangalore and strive to get the necessary resources to make the roadmap a realityYou will be greatly appreciated in this role if you have demonstrated Predictive analysis and decision-making using DataIf you are a Master's Degree holder in Mechanical/Automobile/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering with fantastic analytical skills, have gained a strong domain understanding in Powertrain Engineering then you can be a good fit into this role.
