Designation : Senior Footwear Merchandiser Department : Footwear Year of Experience : 8 YearsRelevant Experience : Minimum 5 YearsBase location : Lower ParelPurpose of Job :

• Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales
• Follow up for production for on going orders
• Ensuring delivery on time targets hit at >85%
• Upselling to existing customers
• High integrity

Team Yes , will be working with Senior Merchandisers Travelling To Factory from time to time Specific Technical :

• Knowledge of Footwear,
• Merchandiser know how including reading fit comments, making BOM , making trim chart , follow up with vendors for delivery on time of orders, managing T&A to ensure delivery on time,
• Directly communication with clients & vendors
• Leather knowledge is must

Qualification :

• FDDI (All over India)
• FTech (Delhi)
• Government Polytechnic (Mumbai)
• CFTI (The Central Footwear Training Institute)
• or equivalent Post Graduate or Diploma in
• Footwear Design and Production

Soft Skills :

• commercial awareness
• confidence
• able to cope with pressure
• willing to train & work with the team

• Ensuring orders are executed with 85% Delivery on Time
• Marketing & Upselling to existing cutomers
• Training Juniors in the tream
• Constraints

• Responsibile for supporting the sernior merchandiser for execution of orders
• Ensuring vendors PO are going out on time
• Escalation of delay to appropriate channels
• Ensuring production files are maintained
• Budget Approval

Salary 40k but negotiable depending on experience
