Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities Collaborate with the cross functional teams and the consultants to conceptualize, basic design and detailed designing & engineering of the projects across sites Ensuring timely completion of the Projects design with good industrial standards, best engineering design, robust layouts, and efficient process design Obtain timely internal and external approvals on design parameters and drawings to ensure timely project completion To review & assess the inputs, drawings etc received from the engineering consultant, engineering team etc and ensure timely release.
Coordinate with product development, process engineering, and engineering team for the right selection of equipment and process design layouts Compliances Ensure all the design layouts and selection parameters are as per the applicablestatutory requirements Improvements & Changes in plans Review the building, infra, civil, electrical, MEP, ETP, utilities etc.
detailed designs and drawings to ensure cost effectiveness, robustness, future readiness and operational efficiency Identify & select new technologies to improve efficiency, & cut costs on basis of Lifetime cost assessmentOverall Documentation Ensure all the design files, technical evaluations, drawings & datasheets, detailed engineering drawings, vendor technical proposals, review sheets, etc are well documented All the input sheets, assumptions, design parameters, review versions, modifications etc are well documented and reviewed for closure.
Safety First Ensure all the Layouts, engineering design, process design, material & man movements, equipment selection are with the desired human safety and food safety norms, and applicable policies and regulationsQualification - BE / B Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation from, a renowned university An MBA & / or Project Designing Certification would be preferable Experience - Minimum 10 years of experience (preference given to food industry)Desired Candidate ProfileQualification - B.
