Senior Manager L5 Logistics Sourcing Job In Tata Group In Pune, India

Position Summary with Job ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible to work with the relevant teams to award the portfolio of contracts in order to maximize added value from 3rd Party Goods and Services and achieve business objectives in a timely manner within TML procurement proceduresShould have knowledge for various Transportation vehicle types and Prepare should costing for various routes and vehicle types Identify vendors with advance technology, prepare business plan and validation of vendors and initiate vendor empanelment process Review Technical specifications/SOW/RFQ in order to shortlist vendors Obtain internal approval for vendor finalization through sourcing council and release PO.

Prepare and review RFQ document for floating to Vendors Analyse quotation received for RFQ Prepare Cost Estimate / Should Cost for the transportation / warehouse contract as per TML Standard Cost Estimation Process Propose a shortlist of most suitable vendors after negotiation Recommend SOB for vendors as per organizations long term sourcing strategy.

Monitor and Review financial health, operations, IR health, etc of the service providers for long-term sustainability Identify vendors, which can be groomed as long-term partners for TMPVLEffective communication and interaction with the stakeholders to ensure proper process and necessary improvements to achieve optimal performanceEducationB.

E-Work ExperienceWork Experience Min 6 years of total work experience (preferably automobile)

1. Review SOW, RFQ and SLA's for Logistics Service Contracts and adding value for strategic advantage Review Logistics cost estimation for upcoming contracts Evaluate contracts wrt Should Cost / Target cost and settlement within budget
2. Negotiation with Service Partners, Transporters,3PL Logistic Providers based on ZBC, target costing
3. Vendor development and relationship management.
   
   
4. Route Mapping, Logistic Network design for various transportation models and vehicle types
5. Ability to handle Purchase for PAN India Domestic Transportation- Road, Air and Train
6. Ability to handle Purchase for PAN India Warehouse and 3PL Operations
7. Should be able to visualise market dynamics wrt Logistics and accordingly propose Logistic solutions
8. Ability to represent Logistics Sourcing team in various CFT and forums
9. Should be able to prepare business case for senior leadership review.
   
   
10. Should be able to work with agility and quick response time to internal customers and outside service partners
11. Logistics MIS generation wrt Purchase
12. Nurturing and developing strategic LSP base
13. Awareness of Labour codes/CSM and their legal impact/Factory Act/GST etc
14. Drive aggressive cost reduction
