Delhi Transport Corporation invites applications for the position of Senior Medical Officer
1 Position: Senior Medical Officer
2 No of Post: 02
3 Qualification: MBBS or equivalent degree of a recognized Indian university or equivalent foreign qualifications 10 years of working experience.
4 Desirable: Post Graduate degree or Diploma in Medicine or Surgery Working experience in a recognized Government Hospital
5 Transfer on deputation/Transfer: Officer under the Central/ State Govt/UT Govt.
/Public Sector Undertaking including Central Police Organization/State Police Organization etc with requirements laid down as above and below:

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis Or
(ii) With five years of regular service in the pay band of Rs15600-39100+GPofRs5400/-.

About Delhi Transport Corporation
Govt. of India, Ministry of Transport took over the local bus services of Delhi in May 1948 in the name of Delhi Transport Service when they found that the services offered by Gawalior and Northern India Transport Company Ltd., the then licensee, were inadequate. A Delhi Road Transport Authority was constituted under the Road Transport Corporation Act, 1950. This Authority became undertaking of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi by an Act of Parliament in April 1958.
